Alexander the Great Statue in Skopje. Alexander the Great is one of my favorite historical figures of all time. He was known for his fearless conquests, and I have read many books about his distinctive accomplishments. But at the end of the day, true strength comes not from earthly victories, but from surrendering to God’s will.

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here I am Lord, send me!’” – Isaiah 6:8

As we step into this new year, this verse is my prayer:

-To be bold in faith.

-To say YES to God’s calling, even when the path is unknown.

-To trust that He goes before me in every journey I take.

Whether we are traveling to new places or stepping into new seasons, let’s move forward with a heart ready to serve. Here I am, Lord—send me!
